Fresnel can effectively absorb ambient light, thus providing striking images in bright environment. Fresnel structure is a special optics structure, which can adjust the direction of the incident light, to make the light well distributed. It consists of 8 functional layers, to project high quality images. The dark grey screen can effectively absorb ambient light and improve brightness. Each layer is made of resin material, inside which there are nanoscale particles.

This screen is specifically designed for Ultra Short Throw projectors, such as VAVA, Xiaomi, Wemax, Optoma 4K and LG 4K models, to give you the best image quality even in a well-lit room, much better than a white wall or a regular white, non UST screen. It has a micro “sawtooth” surface structure, blocking the light from the ceiling. It also rejects ambient light from lights and projected reflections above. What is the proper projector placement for the UST ALR Screen?
The UST ALR screen is exclusively for table-mounted ultra-short throw projectors. If you want to install the projector on the ceiling, you need to put the screen upside down.

Dual Frame Structure
The Dual Frame structure comprises the inner frame and outer frame: the inner frame holds the screen, adapting spring tension system and guaranteeing a perfectly flat surface. The outer frame is decorative, the 12mm slim bezel.
Slim Bezel 12mm Aluminum Frames
The high-end aluminum construction ensures that the screen will not bend under any circumstances. The 12mm frame is black color, with black velvet, to absorb any excess light. By making this stray light invisible, contrast and brightness are visibly hightened, making the content clear and sharp.
